The Council provides 74 Pensioner Housing Units in communities throughout the District.
Presbyterian Support Central manage the Units on behalf of the Council, providing all tenancy services. They offer regular home visits or phone calls to tenants to check on their well-being. These visits provide an opportunity to pick up on small maintenance work required and check whether tenants need any assistance to obtain other support services such as meals on wheels or mobility aids.
