Starting next week, Waverley, Patea and Eltham LibraryPlus centres will be joining Hawera and
Opunake in opening on Saturdays.
After an extensive review of our LibraryPlus centres and services undertaken last year, it was decided that some of the opening hours should be changed to include opening on Saturdays to become more customer focussed.
These days, customers are using the libraries a little bit differently, not only are we providing books mags and DVD’s, we are also providing information for travelling public, the free computers, council services and in Eltham, New Zealand Post.
South Taranaki District Council will be trialing these new hours for the next year.

Mon-Fri: 9am-5.30pm, Sat: 9am-1pm
Eltham LibraryPlus
Mon-Fri: 9am-5.30pm, Sat: 9.30am-12noon
Kaponga LibraryPlus
Mon-Fri: 1-5pm
Manaia LibraryPlus
Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm
Opunake LibraryPlus
Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm, Sat: 9.30am-1pm
Patea LibraryPlus
Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm, Sat: 9.30am-12noon
