The South Taranaki District Council manages 9 halls at Opunake, Manaia Town Hall and Manaia Sports Hall, Kaponga, Eltham, Hawera, Normanby, Patea (Hunter Shaw building) and Waverley Community Centre to meet the social, recreational and conference needs of local communities.
The Manaia Sports hall, while owned by the Council is managed on a day to day basis by the Manaia Sports Trust. There are 29 other privately owned halls across the district and while the Council does not have all the details for these, we are happy to help where we can.
In all cases a personal inspection of the halls is recommended prior to any bookings to make sure they are suitable for your needs.
