The exhibition, inspired by the book, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC RARELY SEEN: Photographs of the Extraordinary, features 50 striking images shot by some of the world's finest photographers of places, events, natural phenomena and man made heirlooms seldom seen by human eyes.

Emma Stevens is a New Zealand born ( and Whanganui raised) author of three popular memoirs about her life with the Yup’ik Eskimo people in remote Western Alaska where she lived for six years. The final book in the trilogy, Dancing on the Tundra was released in 2017, and she was interviewed for TV, radio and magazines at that time.
