Gita Greenwaste clean up

Gita Greenwaste clean up

Please make that you are transporting your greenwaste in a safe manner. Ensure your trailerload is secure and tied down, so no debris falls onto the road. Please remain patient at the transfer stations, and read all signs.

Cyclone Gita made its way across the country on Tuesday evening and there was widespread damage throughout the district.

Gita’s high winds (up to 140kph) caused all sorts of issues including power outages, damage to trees and property in South Taranaki.

All transfer stations will be taking storm-related greenwaste for free (between 1 - 4pm) until the end of Sunday 25 February.
