New Kerbside Collection

New Kerbside Collection

Things will be changing from 1 October 2015.

By the end of the month, all residents who are currently on the kerbside collection route should have received three new EnviroWaste bins for the new collection that is starting in October.

PLEASE STORE THESE BINS AWAY UNTIL OCTOBER - IF YOU USE THESE BINS BEFORE OCTOBER, THEY WILL NOT BE COLLECTED

120 litre green wheelie bin with red lid - this is for your general rubbish.

Why do we need new bins?

Because the current contractor, Waste Management, own the bins we use at the moment.

What is going to happen to our old bins after October?

It is up to Waste Management to organise the pick up of your old bins.

At this stage, we still don't know of a confirmed plan - despite frequently asking Waste Management for one. Please be assured that as soon as we have been made aware of what it happening, we will let you know. In the meantime, do not hesitate to get in touch with Waste Management to enquire - (06) 757 8381.
