Pre Election Report

In the countdown to this year’s local elections (12 October), the Council has put together a Pre-Election Report (PER) which can be viewed here or from any LibraryPlus centre and the Hawera Administration Building.
The PER is a mandatory document which all Council’s must provide. The purpose of the PER is to demonstrate the Council’s financial position and provide information that will enable informed public discussion about the issues facing the South Taranaki District Council.
Over the next couple of months, we will also be featuring the key elements of the PER in Southlink; so keep an eye out.
Remember the local elections are for District Council, Regional Council and District Health Board. Elections will be held by postal vote from 20 September until 12 October 2013 when voting closes at noon that day.
