Rachael Johnson, STUDIO # 89: 47 Weraroa Road, Waverley, Rachael Johnson (Dip. Maori Visual Arts), constantly experiments with natural materials and techniques to stitch and weave traditional and contemporary nests, bowls and wall pieces. Her work is inspired by the environment and often reflects her concern for the land.
Lisa & Jimi Walsh, STUDIO # 69: 49 Weraroa Rd, Waverley. Lisa is an International and National Award winning glass artist. Her work is inspired by New Zealand and celebrates the diversity of our land and culture. Jimi has an extensive art background creating in a diverse range of media including stone, wood, glass, ceramics and working in the film industry with Weta Workshop. For Artist Open Studios he will be exhibiting ceramics created for the 100 day project.
