David Parker, Labour’s spokesperson for Economic Development, is visiting Hawera on Thursday to host a public forum detailing the Labour Party’s economic strategy for the forthcoming election. He will be speaking at 12.30 p.m. at the Hawera Community Centre, Albion Street, this Thursday 29 September 2011.
The presentation will include the Capital Gains Tax, the first $5000 of income tax-free, and the importance of retaining state assets. Mr Parker will be available to answer questions after the presentation.
