As part of the South Taranaki District Council’s programme to improve the quality of our roads, Fulton Hogan has been contracted to undertake repair work on Whareroa Road, on the Fonterra factory side of the railway crossing.

This work involves removing the pavement for both traffic lanes and replacing it with a concrete surface (from the railway line heading south for about 50 metres).

Work is planned to start at 6.00 am Thursday 23April and be finished by 8.00 am Saturday 25 April.  In the event of wet weather the alternative dates for this work are 30 April to 2 May.

Whareroa Road will be closed to all traffic while this work is being carried out. Over these two days you may notice a slight increase in traffic using Manawapou and Fairfield Roads.

If you have any questions or concerns about this work, please contact Gavin Stobie or Carolyn Copeland on the numbers below.
