Arts in Taumata Park 2 March
Thursday, February 14, 2013
The very popular ‘Arts in Park’ is returning to Eltham’s Taumata Park on Saturday 2 March.
Jewellery, woodcraft, honey products, knitwear, garden and decorative art are just some of the stalls that will be featuring at this year’s event.
South Taranaki District Council events coordinator, Jody Bloor, says Taumata Park will have a festival atmosphere as the artists and craftspeople display their creations throughout. “It’s a thrill to be able to see the artworks being created as well as linger with those pieces on display and perhaps purchase something for home or as a gift,” says Jody.
“For the kids, there will be a bouncy castle, pony rides and face painting. People can grab a coffee or a bite to eat while they are there with cupcakes and a BBQ just some of the items on the menu,” she says.
Everyone is welcome to come along as it is free to have a look. The day runs from 10am-2pm at Taumata Park in Eltham.
