Arts in the Park - this weekend
Tuesday, March 15, 2011
Jewellery, fibreart, wrought iron and 3D photos are just some of the stalls you’ll see at this year’s Arts in Taumata Park.
Eltham’s Taumata Park will come alive with artists and crafts people displaying and selling their wares on Saturday 18th March.
South Taranaki i-SITE and events co-ordinator Tarin Hunt says this year’s event is an unmissable day on the South Taranaki arts calendar.
“The park busts with life when the artists and crafts people brighten up the atmosphere with their wares and there will be plenty of food stalls for those who want to stay all day,” says Mrs Hunt. “There will also be an opportunity for children to create and take away their own piece of art – they can come along and make their own colourful wind sculpture.”
The event runs from 10am - 2pm on Saturday 19th March. If the weather is unsuitable on Saturday, the postponement date is Sunday 20th March at the same time.
