The Post House is centrally located in a prominent historic building, transforming the old Patea Post Office into a B&B for discerning travelers. Off street parking available.
This is a non-smoking facility. There is one queen room downstairs off the entrance foyer, then up the staircase to three very spacious rooms with sea views (king, queen and family).
Each room has its own character, and together they form an inviting place to stay. Free high speed internet available, reading room and board games room.
Continental breakfast is provided for self-catering in the sunny kitchen, while Red Rock Cafe just down the road has a generous sized cooked breakfast menu at reasonable prices.
Patea has an unbeatable view of Mount Taranaki right up the main street. It abounds with history, and epitomizes small town New Zealand. Patea also has a great beach for swimming, surfing and boating, while the west coast view of the sunset is truly inspiring. Well worth a stop.
