10.00 am-12 noon Laraine Sole, Waverley LibraryPlus Laraine Sole has created a niche market for herself writing the history of her home town Waverley, Whanganui, and more recently that of Pātea. Despite having written over 20 books, Laraine says she is never short of an idea for another, and now retired, she enjoys having time to write more.

A fun, informative event celebrating how things used to be done in the good old days. Taste test some of Aunt Daisy’s recipes and remember zero waste cooking long before it was trendy.
