Trust in the Trees

Mangahume South Beach near Opunake will be enchanted with hundreds on trees on Friday 8th July.

The planting will begin at 9:30am with school pupils lending a hand.

Access is via Arnold Hickey's property at 4025 South Road.

All welcome to attend. 

It is a project organised by the Opunake Board riders club, with support from the Taranaki Tree Trust and the Honda TreeFund, more than 500 trees will be planted on the coastal strip just south of the town.

The Taranaki Tree Trust is proud to support local grassroots effort to protect and improve the environment, and is grateful for the support of the Honda Tree Fund, says the trust chairman, Michael Joyce.
