Wednesday 1 May
IDentity Dance Workshop with James Tautuku
Co-choreographer of IDentity Dance Crew, winners of Auckland Regional Championship 2013. Mega crew champion of NZ National championship 2012. (More info to come next week). Currently studying for bachelor degree in contemporary dance.
Dance workshops @ the Hawera Community Centre, Albion Street Hawera - limited spaces!
Street Dance Workshop $5 4:30-6pm
Open class of intermediate and advanced hip hop and contemporary fusion sets. All about fun and reaching into the body for full activation if movement and musicality.
How to Teach Dance $5 6:30-8pm
To help with structuring classes and his to teach efficiently. A fun class for those aspiring to teach classes of the own whether big or small, class has little dancing more movement and interaction.

7:00-9:00 pm Gaming competition $5 per entry (20 spaces)

@ Hawera Skate Park 12-4pm (registrations for comp from 11am)
Water Tower Abseiling (free) & Skate & Scooter Competition $5 pp

Come find and fix the broken engine parts and be in to win a stereo or I-Pod docking station

Thursday 9 May
Hydra Kickboxing 29 Collins St
Free Kickboxing Training Session 6-8pm
Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May
Come learn some new skills with awesome local musicans.
Tihikura, Urs and Hinenui will be running a workshop on How to Play different instruments & lyric writing.
Hinenui and Tasheena will run a Taranaki Waiata session.
Urs and Tash will hsow you how to set up a PA system and Sound gear.
Karl will run games and activities to help build confidence on stage, stage presence, crowd dynamics etc
Nikki will run a dance workshop
Tash and Hinz will run riff raff comps, rap battles, confidence building exercises and a group song writing for our Live Like a Legend theme.
