They get bigger and better every year - and this year is no exception.
South Taranaki, get set for some serious pyrotechnic explosions when the More FM Fireworks Spectacular takes place on Saturday 30th October at the Egmont A & P Show Grounds in Hawera.
Local band MaRoPu will be performing from 7pm until the fireworks start. Bouncy castles will be there for the children and food will be available for purchase or families are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the great night out.
Once again, Van Tiel Pyrotechnics has designed an explosive display choreographed to music. Van Tiel Pyrotechnics staged New Zealand’s largest ever display for the Auckland Millennium celebrations, along with America’s Cup Yachting and All Black Test Matches, Super 14 and NPC.
“It just gets better every year,” says event co-ordinator Tarin Hunt. “Having the fireworks set to music just adds something special and every year the crowds get bigger. It is going to be an awesome, safe family night out!”
Entry to the Show Grounds for the evening is just $5 adults $2 children and only $10 for a family (2 adults 3 children). Car parking is available in at the Hub and entry to the Show Grounds will be from Burnside Avenue and Williams Avenue. Gates open at 6.30pm.
Residents are reminded to keep their pets and animals safe during the evening. As with every year around Guy Fawke’s time, animals can easily get spooked.
