Cecilia Russell - Studio/Gallery
Cecilia Russell, painter and graphic artist, has her home and studio at 77 Princes Street, Hawera’s oldest commercial building dating back to before 1880. There are Paintings, Prints, Cards to view and for sale.
Also this is the Global Headquarters for her world-famous Lost for Words prints. These are Cecilia's unique concepts - scenes made entirely of words.
Cecilia is currently engaged on a project that will be shown at Hawera's Community Art Space - the Lysaght Watt Gallery - in January and February 2015.
This Exhibition "The Princes Street Row - Now and Then" is a Hawera story of five heritage buildings and their occupiers. Featured will be Charles Major - a significant and colourful character in the history of Hawera. Check out the website for details.
