Summer Community Events
Arts in the Park - Saturday 7 December
Arts, Crafts and fun for the whole family
One of the most anticipated events on the South Taranaki calendar is back again this year, just in time for Christmas.
Arts in the Park, the district’s biggest arts and crafts market day, is coming back to King Edward Park on Saturday 7 December and it’s the perfect place to pick up some unique Christmas gifts.
“This is always such a well-supported event, the public love seeing what’s on offer. It’s great to be able to see the artworks being created and the variety of things available,” says Tarin Hunt, event co-ordinator. “It’s truly a family day out with activities and entertainment for young and the young at heart!”
There’s plenty to keep children entertained with face painting, pony rides, as well as a merry-go-round and bouncy castle.
Performances will be held throughout the day on the entertainment stage.
“A wide variety of food stalls will be scattered throughout the Park,” says Tarin “Or, you could always pack a picnic for the family and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere of the day.”
Book it in your diaries now – ARTS IN THE PARK, Saturday 7 December, 10am – 3pm, King Edward Park (or TSB Hub if the weather is bad).
