2022 Local Body Elections
Local Body Elections are held every three years by postal vote - our next election is on Saturday 8 October 2022.
If you are an enrolled voter, you’ll get a voting information pack in the mail from Friday 16 September.
Have you missed getting your name on the roll for the 2022 Local Body Elections ?
Don’t worry it’s not too late to vote.
You can pick up a special voting pack by visiting one of our LibraryPlus facilities across the District or the Hāwera Administration Building.
An electoral official will need to register your special vote. We have electoral officials at the Hāwera Administration Building, Eltham, Pātea, Manaia, Ōpunakē and Hāwera LibraryPlus facilities who can help with the taking of special votes. Otherwise you can ring 0800 111 323 and speak to our deputy electoral officer, Becky Wolland.
