Hāwera Holiday Park Management - Expressions of Interest 2024
Looking for a lifestyle change or a supplement to your existing family income?
The South Taranaki District Council is seeking applications from parties interested in providing daily management services at the Hāwera Holiday Park.
The Hāwera Holiday Park is located on Waihi Road, (SH3) in Hāwera and has six cabins (two with ensuites), 26 powered caravan sites and six unpowered sites. Communal kitchen, living area, toilets and showers are available.
We are keen to hear from people with some experience in hospitality or customer service roles who may be looking for a lifestyle change or to supplement an existing family income. This contract would suit a semi-retired couple, or a couple where one person has a full-time job.
We do not see this opportunity as full-time, although there are some fixed times, we would expect the contractor to be on-site to undertake cleaning and maintenance and provide check-in and check-out service.
Included in the Contract for the Manager’s use is a recently refurbished two-bedroom home with the Holiday Park office attached. All power, phone, water and Wi-Fi costs are included.
Due to the nature of the role, STDC requires you to undergo pre-employment screening and a Police criminal check. The agreement is subject to these results.
If this role appeals to you, please click here to access the Contract for Services Agreement for the role, or you can pick up a hard copy from the Hāwera Administration Building, Albion Street, Hāwera.
If submitting an expression of interest, please ensure you provide a covering letter outlining your skills and experience for the role along with your most current CV. Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work visa. In terms of residence class visa applications, priority will be given where the applicant is in New Zealand.
Expressions of interest are to be sent to Robynne Harford by email: Robynne.Harford@stdc.govt.nz
For any enquiries, contact Robynne Harford or Tracey Holswich, Tracey.Holswich@stdc.govt.nz or by calling 0800 111 323.
Expressions of interest closes at 4pm on Sunday 15 September 2024.
