Temporary Road Closures- July, August and Sep

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Rakaupiko Road and Lower Kaharoa Road, Pātea
(from Rakaupiko Road to end of roads)
Wednesday 15 July 2026
7am to 5pm

Watino Road, Ōpunakē
21, 23, 27, 29 July 2026
5, 10, 12, 18, 20, 26 August 2026
1, 10, 15, 16, 21, 23, 25 September 2026
7am to 5pm
Power Pole work
Resident access will be available

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators, on the day.
