Michelle, the dynamic owner and grower at the small-scale market garden Goldbush Micro Farm, has been
providing vegetables in South Taranaki since 2017. She is actively improving the way she grows, learning how to
apply regenerative, bio-intensive practices in the context of community centred agriculture, specific to Taranaki.

Human-Scale Agriculture means:
- Biology first - increasing biodiversity above and below ground
- Human-scale farm design - layout of beds and infrastructure for people not machines
- Systems and methods suited to the farm’s context
- Small tools - hand or battery powered, easily fixed and often home-made
- Ability to pivot
