In 2026, we (The Friends of Hāwera Parks Inc and South Taranaki District Council, along with a variety of community groups) are celebrating 100 years since the naming of Naumai Park with a year-long events calendar. Local entertainment to begin followed by carols by candlelight with Hāwera Brass Band and Memorial Theatre Trust Singers.
