Temporary Road Closures

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Manawapou Road, Hawera (at South Road intersection)
and
Dixon Ave, Hawera (at Waihi Road intersection)
Wednesday 14 May 2025
Alternative day: Thursday 15 May 2025
8am to 5pm
State Highway Road Testing

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures. In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day.
