Temporary Road Closures - 29 June and 1 July

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Upper Glenn Road, Manaia
(between SH45 and Skeet Road)
Closed between 1.4km to 1.6km from SH45
Resident access available either side of closure point
From 8am Tuesday 1 July 2025 to 5pm Thursday 3 July 2025
Underpass Installation

Turuturu Road, Hāwera
(between Glover Road and Egmont Street)
Sunday 29 June 2025 between 7am to 2pm
Road test pits

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day. Detours will be available and signposted.
