Temporary Road Closures - 17 Sep to 2 Oct

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Taikatu Road, Otakeho
Closed at approx. 3.5km from SH45
Access available either side of closure point via SH45 or Skeet Road
Wednesday 17 September 2025
7am to 5pm
Powerpole Replacement

Manawapou Road, Hāwera (at South Road Intersection)
Dixon Ave, Hāwera (at Waihi Road Intersection)
From Sunday 21 September 2025 to Thursday 2 October 2025
(if weather permits)
7pm to 6am
State Highway repairs

County Drive, Hāwera
(from Glover Road for approx. 200m)
Tuesday 23 September 2025
7am to 5pm
Power work
Resident access will be available

Upper Herengawae Road, Waverley
(closed at approx. 570m from SH3)
Access available either side of closure point via SH3 and Waitangi Road
From 8am Tuesday 30 September 2025 to 5pm Wednesday 1 October 2025
Underpass Installation

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators, on the day.
