Glover Road, Hāwera - Water Network Improvements

From Monday 17 November, contractors will start work on upgrading a watermain on Glover Road, Hāwera (between Bunnings and the Tawhiti Rd/Collins St/Princes St/Glover Rd intersection).

The work will continue for about 16 weeks, weather permitting.

To minimise disruption, the work will be done in stages, working on sections of road at a time, down the centre of Glover Road. Traffic Management will be in place as both road lanes will be affected. As each section is done, the shoulder lane will be used as the main travel lane, so parking in the road shoulder will be unavailable for that section during that time.

Access will remain open to all affected resident driveways and business entrances; however, please be mindful that at times it may be left-hand turns only.
