Road closures
In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic to undertake Sand Dune Maintenance for the periods indicated hereunder.
Beach Road, Pātea (at end of Road in Carpark Area)
Wednesday 18 February 2026 and Thursday 19 February 2026
8am to 5pm
Access to Beach via Foot only
It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use this road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.
In all other situations necessitating the use of the road contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators, on the day.
