Under section 336(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1974, the South Taranaki District Council declares a portion of Cambridge Street, Pātea containing 505 square metres more or less as shown on the map below to be a pedestrian mall.
Section 336(3) of the Local Government Act allows any person, within one month of this declaration, or within such time as the Environment Court may allow, to appeal to the Environment Court against the declaration. Any person wishing to appeal to the Environment Court on the declaration of a portion of Cambridge Street, Pātea to be a pedestrian mall should do so in writing to the Environment Court prior to Wednesday 3 June 2026.
