​Cancelled: Trial Water Shutdown - Hāwera

The water supply will be turned off on Thursday 28 May from 4pm to 6.30pm, affecting the following properties:

2 - 99 Camberwell Road

1 - 71 Egmont Street

55 - 179 Glover Road

1 - 6 Alex Taylor Street

This trial is being carried out to test the network ahead of a planned outage, as part of the Glover Road Watermain Upgrade project.

Once the water supply has been restored, you may notice some discolouration. If this occurs, please run a cold tap for a short time until the water clears. If the water appears milky or cloudy, this is likely due to air bubbles and should clear after a few minutes.
