Temporary Road Closures - 6-8 May

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Scott Road, Hāwera (between SH45 and Ahipaipa Road)
Resident access via Ahipaipa Road
Wednesday 6 May 2026 to Friday 8 May 2026
7am to 5pm
Road Repairs at SH Intersection

Tangahoe Valley Road, Ararata (closed 4km before Tunnel)
Wednesday 6 May 2026 or next available day thereafter
7am to 5pm
Culvert Replacement

Makino Valley Road, Ararata
Friday 8 May 2026
7am to 5pm
Power Work
Resident access will be available

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators, on the day.
