Notification of Decision: Plan Change 4

Notice is hereby given that on 15 April 2026 the South Taranaki District Council approved Plan Change 4: Urban Development, Hāwera Structure Plans, Financial Contributions to the Operative South Taranaki District Plan.

Plan Change 4 amends the operative provisions and maps to achieve better alignment and integration between infrastructure provisions, infrastructure capacity and urban development.

A copy of the decision stating the reasons for accepting or rejecting the submissions received is available here or can be viewed electronically during business hours at all Council offices and libraries.

Anyone who made a submission to the plan change has the right to appeal the above decision within 30 working days of this decision. The appeal period closes at 5pm on Thursday 11 June 2026.

This notice is written in accordance with Clause 10 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991.
