SouthLink Extra is a quarterly Council newsletter which is published in conjunction with our rates invoices. We call the newsletter Southlink Extra because it compliments our weekly Council Southlink publication which appears in the Taranaki Star and provides another way for us to keep you informed about what the Council is doing in our district.

Spring edition (sent out in November)	Farewell from Mayor Dunlop, Town Centre Masterplans, Annual Report 2018/19, do you have a swimming pool? Hunter Shaw reopening, work progressing well on Waiinu Wastewater Plant, new mobile ablution pod for Waihi Reserve, Summer Blast, Scale Ship Regatta, 7 Days, Elektra and Arts in the Park.
Winter edition (sent out in August)	New centre receives major grant from TSB Community Trust, Local Body Elections 2019 - what you need to know, nominations now open for candidates, historic gin receives timely restoration, District Industrial Park, Summer Blast Literacy Programme, planning underway to enhance South Taranaki town centres, get it done online, get your rates electronically and keep up-to-date.
Autumn edition (sent out in May)	Annual Plan reduces rate increase, upcoming bylaw reviews, recycling tip, think outside the box, Industrial Park and town masterplans, STDC Relay for Life Dream Team, our LibraryPlus services, receive your rates electronically, ways to keep up-to-date, reminder to apply for a rates rebate, Celebrate Puanga, Ronald Hugh Morrieson Literary Awards, Ice Skate Tour and Rarely Seen.
Summer edition (sent out in February)	Korimako Lane now open, do you have a story to tell? think outside the box, upcoming summer events, funding secured for Pātea’s Hunter Shaw and Kaponga LibraryPlus gets facelift.
