Events at the Park
Truly a community hub, King Edward Park is the home to many events throughout the year.
A community light event where the Park gets lit up for one night only. With food trucks, fire shows, entertainment and activities. It's a night not to be missed.
Scale Ship Regatta
Ahoy there, captains! This annual event has been happening for over 25 years. Scale Ships from all over the north island come together to sail their ships on the boating lake at King Edward Park over the long Labour Weekend.
Arts in the Park
The District's largest outdoors arts and crafts festival, Arts in the Park, happens on the first Saturday of December each year (at the TSB Hub if it's wet). Always well attended, people flock to this event to shop for Christmas, see local artisans and their handmade work, as well as take advantage of the food trucks.
Concerts in the Park
A free family-friendly concert held at the stage to celebrate Summer.
King Edward Park always participates in the annual Taranaki Garden Spectacular.
